From Policy to Practice: Driving Research Impact in the Just Transition Lab
-

Join us online on 4 December as we discuss the Just Transition Lab's key projects providing insights and action-based approaches to regional planning, nuclear decommissioning, and coastal communities.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) defines Just Transition as: “Greening the economy in a way that is as fair and inclusive as possible to everyone concerned, creating decent work opportunities and leaving no one behind.”

The Just Transition Lab at the University of Aberdeen is at the forefront of interdisciplinary research addressing the social and economic dimensions of transitioning to a sustainable economy.

This webinar will appeal to students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, as it tackles the multifaceted challenges of transitioning to a sustainable economy, offering insights into social, legal, environmental, economic, and technical dimensions.

Whether you're studying business, engineering, geography, law or social sciences, the event highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in solving complex global issues and how different academic disciplines can contribute to shaping sustainable policy.
