Social Determinants of Health and Health Equity
-
Join our panel of public health experts online on Monday 18 November as we discuss how social determinants contribute to health disparities and explore the challenges to building healthier communities and a more just society for all.
The social determinants of health, like education, income, housing, and community resources, play a powerful role in determining who stays healthy and who faces greater risks. By addressing the root causes of inequities, we can begin to ensure that everyone can attain their full potential for health and well-being, regardless of the conditions in which people are born, live, work and play.
