This session will provide researchers with a general introduction to the topic of research ethics, including a discussion of the types of research activity that require ethical approval.

This session will provide researchers with a general introduction to the topic of research ethics, including a discussion of the types of research activity that require ethical approval.  The rationale behind research ethics and its implementation in the context of research integrity will also be discussed, and researchers will also be provided with a *general overview of the research ethics approval processes within the University.  There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation. 

*Please note that researchers who plan to submit an ethics application via the Worktribe Ethics application process are also encouraged to attend the ResearchBite on ‘Introduction to the Worktribe Ethics Application Process’ as this will allow a more in-depth discussion of the requirements of the Worktribe Ethics process.
