This session will provide advice and suggestions on how to approach writing a narrative CV and will signpost to useful resources as well as covering requirements of key funders.
Narrative CVs are now used by many funders to give researchers the opportunity to showcase a wider range of skills and experience than is possible in a traditional academic CV. Around half of UK funders, including UKRI and the Royal Society now use this format, for at least some funding calls. Writing a narrative CV requires a different way of thinking about and describing your skills, experience and contributions to research and innovation. This session will provide advice and suggestions on how to approach writing a narrative CV and will signpost to useful resources as well as covering requirements of key funders.
