This is a past event
Relax and enjoy some mindful moments as you investigate and draw selected specimens and artefacts from the University collections.
You don't have to be an artist; these sociable sessions are more about having a go and enjoying seeing some of our collections close-up.
The theme for this session is "Archaeological Finds" and we'll have a selection of objects for you to draw, including some of our mysterious carved stone balls or petrospheres that date from the late Neolithic and are mainly found in North East Scotland.
Come and enjoy a sketch and a natter.
- The doodle runs from 12:30 to 13:30.
- Stay for the whole thing or for as long as you like.
- Paper and pencils will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own drawing materials too.
- We recommend booking, but if there are places still available on the day, drop-ins are very welcome.
- You do NOT need to be a member of staff or a student at the University to attend. All welcome.

This doodle will take place in the Sir Duncan Rice Library on the Lower Ground Floor. A member of the team will be at the Welcome Desk to show you where to go.
