This is a past event

A workshop from the University of Aberdeen Economics unit and the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) on theme of Health, Well-being and Environment.

The aim of the workshop is to bring people together from Economics, HERU and externally, to exchange knowledge and stimulate future collaborations.

We are delighted that Professor Anne Nolan, from the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI, Dublin) and a Research Affiliate at the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA) at Trinity College Dublin, has agreed to give a keynote speech. Her main research interest is health economics, with a particular focus on the social determinants of health, population ageing and healthcare financing and access.

We will also have presentations from Dr Dwayne Boyers and Dr Luis Loría Rebolledo of HERU, and Professor Frans de Vries and Dr Prachi Singh from Economics. The afternoon session will include 'flash' talks from HERU and Economics researchers.
