Join Michael MacKenzie of Arrow Films and Video for the world premiere of the 4K restoration of the horror classic "City of the Living Dead"
The University of Aberdeen is thrilled to welcome Michael MacKenzie, one of the key producers of Blu-ray editions and special content from the leading cult film distributor Arrow Films and Video, to the University of Aberdeen on October 30th.
As you might know, Arrow Films and Video are not only one of the leading distributors of horror and cult cinema on Blu-ray in the UK and America, but they also have a streaming channel via Amazon Prime, which Quentin Tarantino himself has admitted to being a subscriber to.
Michael is going to present the world premiere of the new 4k restoration of Lucio Fulci's classic video nasty zombie masterpiece "City of the Living Dead" (1980) at 6pm in the Regent Theatre and then do a Q and A to talk about the label's work in restoration, preservation and the production of new bonus content and documentaries.
We hope you will want to come to this event and gain some insight into the "business" of bringing back classic horror cinema to the masses, the day before Halloween!!
