Friendship House is pleased to announce a virtual event on 12 May from 15:30-16:30 featuring Professors John Swinton and Grant Macaskill alongside Fiona Kennedy OBE, each sharing stories and memories linked to music. The goal is to help students and community members alike combat the loneliness which has taken hold for so many during lockdown. The three will share conversations and stories of how music connects us with the land, with loved ones, memories of the past and hope for the future, along with some treasured Scottish folk songs for all to sing along with. This event has been funded thanks to a generous grant through the Student Development Trust.
