Scotland's Role and Contribution in a Changing Arctic Environment

New Research Network Series - 22nd February to 17th March. Nine online events will focus on themes ranging from Climate Justice to Mental Health; Sustainable Economies to Eroding Coastlines and Renewable Energy - Open to all, registration essential.

The Centre for Climate Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University – in partnership with the University of Aberdeen, the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), and the University of the Arctic (UArctic) announce a series of research networking events entitled: Scotland’s Contribution to Research on the Changing Arctic.  

This Event Series aims to establish a Scotland-Arctic research network, supported by the Scottish Government. 

Academics from multiple disciplines working on Arctic matters in Scotland along with attendees can add to the direction of future Scotland-Arctic research, and contribute to building a multidisciplinary network to strengthen Arctic-focused educational and research links in Scotland.

The Series will conclude with two Consolidation Sessions one on 15th March and the second on 17th March 2021:
