Populist movements are emerging in sub-Saharan Africa, but they are different from those found in Europe and the United States.

In this webinar Dr Dan Paget (University of Aberdeen), Dr Luke Melchiorre (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia), Dr Nicole Beardsworth (University of Pretoria), Dr Rose Nakayi (Makerere University), Kyle FindlayDr Jorg Wiegratz and Dr Alex Beresford (University of Leeds), will look at the possibilities of populism, illustrate its potential forms and explore the positive role it can play in mobilising reform.
