Welcome to Doors Open Day 2019! Scotland's largest free festival that celebrates heritage and our built environment.
It offers free access to over a thousand venues across the country throughout September every year including the University of Aberdeen's Foresterhill campus. Come along and tour the labs of the Institute of Medical Sciences where we have partnered with TechFest for some family friendly hands-on-science. Explore the Human Nutrition Unit at the Rowett Insitute and hear some of the scientists explain their cutting-edge research and how you can get involved. The Aberdeen Dental Institute will be showcasing their purpose-built teaching facilities with interactive sessions and displays and you can also visit the Aberdeen Medico-Chirurgical Society and learn about the history of medicine in the North East of Scotland.
