This conference aims to not only inspire women, but to raise the profile of issues that are central to career development for female colleagues at both a local and national level.
Online Registration for the International Women's Day Conference is now closed...
BUT YOU CAN STILL COME!
If you would like to come to the conference but have not registered you can still come along and purchase a ticket at the door.
PLEASE NOTE: We can only accept cash on the day, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
International Women's Day has been celebrated across the world since the early 1900's. Originally, its aim was to provide a forum for women to campaign for equality and women’s rights.
Over time, it has evolved and now in March each year, thousands of events are held throughout the world to recognise the progress that has been made, to inspire women and to celebrate their achievements.
The proceeds from the conference will be donated to the Aberdeen based ‘Active Girls Committee’ for which one of our speakers Aimee Work is Chairperson. The main aim of the Active Girls Committee is to encourage and increase participation within girls and young women into sport and physical activity within Aberdeen.
