CPD for Physics Teachers and Technicians

Practically based course to provide an opportunity to try experiments suitable for Advanced Higher investigations, AH course work and Higher Physics

Aims:-

 

• To provide ideas for AH investigations using a limited budget
• To introduce some alternative pupil experiments and  teacher demonstrations
• To extend teachers’ practical knowledge and expertise
• To network with other teachers and course providers

      0900 – 0915        Registration

      0915 – 1030        Chosen experiment(s)

      1030 – 1100        Coffee, discussion and display of kits

      1100 – 1215        Chosen experiment(s) (cont’d)

      1215 – 1230        Demonstration

      1230 – 1315        Lunch and discussion (Networking)

      1315 – 1520        Mini-Experiments, Shorter Experiments and

                                 Demonstrations (20 – 40 minutes each approx.)
