- Applying AI Techniques to Well Integrity Logging Data, ANSA Data Analytics (ReadCasedHole), 2021-2023. Project team: Dr Vahid Vaziri, Dr Andrew Starkey, Dr Marcin Kapitaniak and Mr John Guntoro. The ultimate goal of this collaborative project is to develop a system capable of delivering fully or partially automated well integrity reports based on multifinger calliper data. The University of Aberdeen will undertake the research and data science element of the project.

- Advanced Shock Tool, iVDynamics, 2020-2022. Project team: Professor Marian Wiercigroch, Dr Vahid Vaziri, Dr Marcin Kapitaniak and Mr Idin Nazzari. The objective of this collaborative project is to investigate the effects of induced lateral vibration on a differentially stuck pipe to release the pipe. This project includes Finite element modelling, lumped mass mathematical modelling, and small-scale and large-scale experimental studies.
