Biography
Mohsen's journey through academia and industry has been defined by a relentless pursuit of understanding and innovation in Dynamics and Control. Beginning with a solid foundation in Marine Engineering, he delved into the intricacies of ship control systems, culminating in a thesis focused on adaptive approaches to ship roll motion control.
Building upon this expertise, Mohsen pursued an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Space Robotic Systems from Amirkabir University of Technology. Here, he honed his skills in orbital mechanics and control, showcasing his abilities through a thesis on the control of malfunctioning spacecraft without physical contact.
Driven by a thirst for deeper knowledge, Mohsen embarked on a Ph.D. journey at the University of Aberdeen, specializing in Nonlinear Dynamics and Control. His doctoral research delved into the complexities of nonlinear systems with inherent delay and constraint, addressing fundamental challenges at the intersection of theory and application.
Throughout his academic career, Mohsen has demonstrated a keen aptitude for teaching and mentorship, serving as a tutorial and teaching assistant across various engineering disciplines. His hands-on experience extends to R&D projects, where he contributed to modeling Peterhead Harbor and reevaluating bearing stress criteria for angled shoulders, showcasing his proficiency in simulation and analysis tools.
In industry, Mohsen's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as the founder of Tareiana Smart Home, where he spearheaded the development and implementation of customized building management systems, pioneering innovative solutions in the region.
Mohsen's research contributions are underscored by a robust publication record and proficiency in a diverse array of software tools, reflecting his adaptability and expertise in tackling complex engineering challenges.
