Vladimir Nikora, Professor of Environmental Fluid Mechanics in the School of Engineering, has been awarded the 2010 Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Award by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
This is a prestigious award which "recognises outstanding contributions to hydraulics and waterways". To mark the award Professor Nikora will give the Rouse Lecture at the World Environmental and Water Resources Congress in Providence USA at the end of May. Well done Vladimir.
