The School of Engineering has again performed exceptionally well in the 2022 National Student Survey (NSS).
Based on Overall Satisfaction, the University of Aberdeen is ranked:
- 1st in the UK for Chemical, Process and Energy Engineering with an overall satisfaction score of 96.3% (compared to a national average score of 78.7%).
- 11th in the UK for Electrical and Electronic Engineering with an overall satisfaction score of 84.2% (compared to a national average score of 75.7%).
- 13th in the UK for Mechanical Engineering with an overall satisfaction score of 81.5% (compared to a national average score of 72.9%).
- 13th in the UK for Civil Engineering with an overall satisfaction score of 86.7% (compared to a national average score of 80.3%).
The annual NSS asks final-year students across the UK about a range of factors related to their academic experience, including teaching, learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, and academic support.
Overall, the University of Aberdeen was ranked 4th in the UK - and 2nd in Scotland - for overall student satisfaction in this year’s survey.
