The School of Engineering has honoured undergraduate students who have excelled in their field of study, as part of the School's annual prize-giving.
The full list of the prizes currently available to engineering students is available at this link.
Prizes are instituted by professional engineering institutions (e.g. The Institution of Civil Engineers, The Institution of Mechanical Engineers, The Institution of Engineering and Technology), companies (e.g. Chevron and Marathon Oil), societies (e.g. Aberdeen Mechanical Society, Society of Underwater Technology) or in memory of individuals (e.g. the Peter MacConnell Memorial Prize). Nominations for engineering prizes are made at the end of each academic year by the School of Engineering Prizes Committee.
