Hundreds of prospective postgraduate students are expected to descend on the University of Aberdeen next week (Wednesday November 11) as the institution hosts its third annual Postgraduate Open Day.
Enhanced careers prospects and potential higher earnings will justbe some of the benefits of postgraduate study highlighted at the eventwhich takes place at Elphinstone Hall at the University’s King’sCollege Campus from 1 — 5pm.
Visitors will be able to learn more about the vast range ofpostgraduate opportunities offered by the University which includesover 140 taught postgraduate courses, a wide selection of researchprogrammes and Continued Professional Development courses.
Talks on key topics such as postgraduate funding and the admissionsprocess will take place over the course of the day, and attendees willalso have the chance to participate in campus tours and a question andanswer session with University staff, students and alumni.
Over 2,000 students begun postgraduate studies with the Universityin October this year — an increase on last year indicating thecontinued popularity of postgraduate programmes.
