PGRS talks
Students can present a talk
We would like to welcome you to the 11th Engineering Postgraduate Research Webinar Symposium on Wednesday 3rd and 10th of June 2020.
The EPRS is an annual event, taking the form of a conference, in which all engineering postgraduate students at the university are given the opportunity to present their research work. Its aim is to exhibit the level and quality of research work currently being
undertaken within the School of Engineering, as well as to provide an interesting experience and liaising opportunity for an audience combining students, members of academia, and industry practitioners.
In light on recent events, the usual conference format will be replaced by two online lunchtime webinars held at 12-1 pm on Wednesday 3rd and Wednesday 10th June including the new “1 Slide, 1 Minute, 1 PhD Thesis” competition which will replace the poster session. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best poster and oral presentations.
The symposium brings together the five diverse fields of research;
• Mechanics of Fluids, Soils and Structures
• Chemical and Material Engineering
• Theoretical and Applied Mechanics
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering
