This presentation describes the challenges in providing a DVB-RCS two-way Internet satellite system that supports multiple classes of service. It examines the interaction of the control-loop presented by the Radio Resource Management (RRM), defined by the SatLabs Forum, in relation to the ETSI/BSM IntServ Quality of Service (QoS) model. It concludes with a candidate architecture for a QoS-capable satellite terminal.
