We are celebrating 100 Years of Engineering at the University of Aberdeen this year with an event at our Old Aberdeen campus.

The event will run from 10:00-17:30 on Thursday 10 October, with lunch provided. The conference will contain talks both looking back at the history of the Department of Engineering and its impact over the past 100 years and those looking ahead to what the future holds with developments such as artificial intelligence and how we can tackle the ethics and social responsibility challenges brought on by new technological advancements. There will also be the opportunity to discuss the cutting-edge research being undertaken by today's School of Engineering in a more informal poster exhibition session.
