Description

A polychrome 3 dimensional armorial panel, with the belted royal arms dexter and the Duchese's ? sinister, (I am unsure of the material this is made from it appears to be some sort of plastic compound, like coed stone or gesso).

Related Information

Royal recognition of sorts and now identified as the arms of the Duchess of Kent, mother of Queen Victoria who visited Abergeldie Castle on several occasions when the Queen was at Balmoral. It is held that she stayed at least once at the Burnett Arms Hotel, then a coaching inn, when travel to Balmoral was by coach and horses.
