A war memorial of an elegant classical design

Related Information

The village was once famous for cobblers (souters). Founded by James Urquhart of Craigston in 1763: who in 1772 advertised that "married men who have families can be accommodated with a croft of land, and cows, grass and fire at an easy rate."
