Polychromed stone relief showing a griffin holding a star and quarter section of a solar disc. Built into a fascinatingly
designed house on the Beltie Road.

Related Information

Included in the house design was a window based on an Edinburgh Sweet shop and it was run as a café after the WW2 called
"Star & Griffin and Sunshine Café" and now is the Sunshine Children's Nursery. The emblem is taken from the Learney Coat of Arms, the Estate, which surrounds the village.
