Gordon Hay’s Interest in Doric literature led to his translation of the New Testament into Doric.
A Senior Partner of Legal Firm, Stewart & Watson, Gordon has worked in the firm's Peterhead office since 1979. A Graduate of Aberdeen University MA 1974, LLB 1976, and a member of Peterhead Choral Society, Chairman of the Charles Murray Memorial Fund, Church Organist (peripatetic), Choirmaster and elder at Longside Parish Church. He regards himself as a reasonably competent pianist and organist. Gordon’s main hobby is gardening with a 4 acre garden at Inverquhomery, Longside. A former Rotarian, Gordon lead the 1992 Group Study Exchange team from this District to an exchange in New York State.
