Puir bairns scraunin fur maet,
Glowerin at the fowk fa eat,
Grabbin his wee sister bi the wrist
Tellin her tae milk the coo.

Gyaun awa tae skweel,
Getting teased
At the skweel
Heid teachers ragin their mam
Aa day lang.

Rinnin hame tae their mammy,
Getting a skelp
Fur nae gyaun tae their da's,
Helpin him milkin the coo.


Puir wee bairns,
Their coo
Hid deed on the park.
Naethin tae eat!
Is life wirth livin?
