On the reef, wi their beasts.
Watter's rushin jist aneth their feet,
An still risin!

Some beasts are skytin
The coos, the goats strugglin,
Jist managin tae survive-
The onely shelt hid watter up tae it's neck-

The mither bosied her bairn
The faither thocht
The anely beasts tae survive
Wad be the dyeuks
Floatin aroon on the watter.
