My 5 year old Anna was absolutely enthralled with this story. The little girl's character was also called Anna and she followed the story as if it was happening to her. She was so captivated with the story she hid behind a pillow when the wolf was getting ready to pounce and gave a visible sigh of relief when the brave robin swooped in to rescue her.
We both thought the illustrations were beautiful. Anna loves looking at the pictures in it even when it's not being read to her.
A beautiful enchanting story about a mother, child and a brave wee bird.
