Pamela Abbott, Lucia D'Ambruoso and Peter Mtika to present during International Development Week
During International Development week Professor Pamela Abbott will be giving presentations to University of Aberdeen students on the sustainable Development Goals. On Monday 20th February she will give a presentation on the Sustainable Development Goals to students on the Kings College campus at 3 p.m. and the same presentation on Thursday 23rd February at 12 noon on the Forrest Hills campus. On Wednesday 22nd February at 2 p.m. she will give a presentation on the Kings College campus on financing the goals.
On Thursday 23rd February, Dr Lucia D’Ambruoso will also present as part of International Development week. Luca will give a talk entitled: Measuring progress: What is a fact? This session examines the relationships between knowledge, evidence and policy in global health, and with reference to the global goals. The session explores the strengths and limitations of conventional analytical approaches for monitoring progress, and illustrates the potential of interdisciplinarity for more robust interpretations of complex global problems.
