The Centre for Sustainable International Development brings the final event of International Development Week at the University of Aberdeen, covering the topic of energy in the energy capital of the UK.
Film Screening of award winning 'Switch'. The world is changing, and we need to adapt with it. Society is set in such a way now that energy consumption is an integral part of it.How will we meet our future energy needs in a transiting world, and how can this be done in a sustainable way? What will it really take to go to from the energy that has shaped the world as we know it to the energy that will shape our future? Switch offers an answer.The screening shall be followed by a discussion engaging with these issues and questions.
