Contributions of wild plant foods to food security and health among rural people of Buhera District in Zimbabwe

Dr Muchuweti's research shows that wild plants have very high nutritional potential and that the nutritional value of some of them is greater than that of some cultivated plants.  They may therefore be a high quality source of nutrition for people living in poverty, especially where malnutrition is widespread.
