Scottish African International Business Conference and Exhibition

Scottish African International Business Conference and Exhibition
-

This is a past event

The theme for this year's conference - "Towards a Sustainable Africa: The Changing Perspective of the African Business Environment" is a reflection of the evolving market trend in Africa, and how the world's perspective of Africa must evolve too. The conference will accept 7 students from the University of Aberdeen with a reduced rate of 25 pounds per student.

This is a two day platform for businesses to promote their services and products and discuss barriers, issues, problems, and solutions in promoting trade. The conference will showcase those who continue to shape and influence the African story through business and enterprise, policy and research and to create a platform for like-minded individuals and businesses, to meet, exchange ideas and stimulate one another onto action. It aims to be the largest business event in Scotland focused on business in Africa. It will target over 500 participants and is the ultimate networking opportunity for business and community leaders, students, academics and policy makers from around the world and anyone passionate about business opportunities in Africa.

The conference is designed for Scottish, Africans and African Diaspora enterprises, government, investors, entrepreneurs, trade institutions, import/export professionals, manufacturers, travel and tourism professional/institutions, healthcare professionals, agriculture professionals, economic and business development professionals, trade agencies and embassies, academics in the field of business and economics, the media, and other interested organisations.
