A seminar to explore aspects of the arts and creative industries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Speakers will include Mike van Graan, playwright and executive director of the African Art Institute in Cape Town, South Africa; Ogova Ondego, arts journalist and creative director of the Nairobi based Lola Kenya Screen; Deji Toye, enterprise lawyer, writer and cultural activist based in Lagos, Nigeria; Lizelle Bischoff, chair of the Africa in Motion Film Festival; Tom Porter, arts advisor South Africa at the British Council and Will Jameson, founder, Lake of Stars festival, Malawi.
