In August 2018 members of the Erasmus+ project on Part-time and Short Cycle Higher Education in Serbia visited the University of Aberdeen. During their stay they went to the Fraserburgh campus of NESCOL (North East Scotland College) to find out about HNC and HND provision there. The visitors from Serbia, the Netherlands and Hungary who were from Universities and Chambers of Commerce had a tour of the campus and were given an overview of apprenticeships, part-time and distance learning options available and a presentation from Skills Development Scotland. There was a Civic Reception in the Town House in Aberdeen with the Depute Provost and a welcome to the University from Acting Senior Vice Principal Professor Phil Hannaford.
