At this CfE Event the keynote will be delivered by Professor Barry Hymer (Professor of Psychology in Education at the University of Cumbria) who will discuss the notion of giftedness: “Follow the evidence: the death of giftedness”. Barry is an experienced teacher, educational psychologist, trainer and consultant. His work aims always to respect the capacity of teachers and students to take ownership of their learning agenda, in a way which allows them to realize their personal and educational values in their own practice.

A range of workshops for Primary and Secondary teachers will be presented. You will be able to select two workshops on the day, these cover topics such as Literacy Difficulties, Mindfulness in School and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Further details of the individual workshops will be sent out after you have registered for the event.
