2018 Lecturer - Professor Jane Ohlmeyer
Jane Ohlmeyer, MRIA, is Erasmus Smith's Professor of Modern History at Trinity College Dublin and the Director of the Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity's research institute for advanced study in the Arts and Humanities. Professor Ohlmeyer delivered the lecture 'India and Ireland: Connected Imperial Pasts', the third in the series, in 2018. This talk explores an aspect of Britain's imperial past and the ways that Ireland and India, both British colonies, were interconnected. A recording of the lecture can be viewed here .
