The Institute of Dentistry organised a graduation celebration and prize giving event for its twenty graduating students.
Students, family and friends were welcomed and addressed by Professor Khalaf who introduced Professor Rona Patey who also addressed the graduating cohort. 
Professor Patey presented her award for the Highest Academic Achievement over the 4 Year Programme. This award was given to Oliver Yeomans.
Next, Shea Smith from MDU presented the Best Overall Academic Performance in the Final Year of the BDS Programme. This prize was sponsored by MDU and was received by Elia Loewenstern.
Skillbond sponsored the Best Overall Laboratotry Proficiency and this award was given to Rebecca Clayphan.
The Award for Excellence in Oral Surgery, Teaching and Patient Clinics was received by Oliver Yeomans.
Final award was the British Endodontic Society Award for Excellence in Endodontics and Tom Pitt-Ford Endodontnic Nominee (Aberdeen) which was given to Anamarija Strljic.
Closing remarks were given by BDS5 Lead, Dr Paul Bond, who congratulated the class on their achivements over the past four years.
