Institute of Dentistry PhD student Shaymaa Mohammed has been granted an Ad Eundem Fellowship (FFDRCSI) from the Board of the Faculty of Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
This fantastic achievement is in recognition of Shaymaa’s contribution to the Joint Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (RCSI) Paediatric Dentistry programme, where she was involved in building and delivering a number of the programme’s modules. The programme started in 2017, and since then, 4 cohorts of students have completed and obtained their FFDRCSI in Paediatric Dentistry. Their performance has been exceptional which reflects the efforts made by Professor John Walsh, Dr Jamal Al Abdulla, and colleagues to prepare them for the degree examinations. Shaymaa received her FFDRCSI in person last week at the conferring ceremony.
