This is a past event
Explore two of the University Collections venues - the Library Gallery and the Zoology Museum - and see how many Lego faces you can find as you go!
We're looking at FACES this year as part of the Aberdeen Science Festival.
Our current exhibition 'Striking Impressions' is all about faces.
For this year's Discovery Day we have hidden 40 Lego minifig faces in the Sir Duncan Rice Library Gallery and the Zoology Museum. See how many you can spot as you discover the collections.
Some are easy to spot, and others a little more difficult!
Trail Sheets will be available to pick up from the venues at 11.30am.
More about the Striking Impressions exhibition
Visit the exhibition “Striking Impressions” and discover how faces have been interpreted and depicted in different ways. Anatomy, divination, caricature, sculpture, painting, masks – there’s a lot on display! We don’t just want people to look at stuff though – throughout the exhibition we’re encouraging visitors to reflect and engage with the displays creatively. There’s even a creative space in the middle of the gallery where you can just sit and use the art supplies provided.
