Relax and enjoy some mindful moments as you investigate and draw selected specimens and artefacts from the University collections.
You don't have to be an artist; these sociable sessions are more about having a go and enjoying seeing some of our collections close-up.
Details
- There is a lunchtime doodle on the last Thursday of each month.
- Each doodle runs from 12:30 to 13:30.
- Stay for the whole thing or for as long as you like.
- Paper and pencils will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own drawing materials too.
- The doodles take place in the Library and in the Zoology Building on alternate months.
- We recommend booking, but if there are places available on the day, drop-ins are welcome.
- All welcome. You do not have to be a student or member of staff at the University to attend.
Where to come
LIBRARY DOODLES If you have booked or are dropping into a doodle in the Sir Duncan Rice Library, please ask at the Ground Floor Welcome Desk where staff will direct you to the activity room.
ZOOLOGY DOODLES If you have booked or are dropping into a doodle in the Zoology Building, a member of staff will be on hand in the foyer to direct you to the activity room.
