Are we currently in a mass-extinction event? If so, what's causing it? Join one of our special tours of the Zoology Museum as part of Climate Week North East 2023.
About this event
During Climate Week North East, join us on "Extinction Tours" of the University of Aberdeen's Zoology Museum, guided by trained student volunteers from the University of Aberdeen Zoology & Biological Science Society.
Tour leaders will be looking at species at risk of extinction in both the upper and lower galleries, and discussing the major issues plaguing our global biodiversity. Our student volunteers are passionate and can't wait to share their passion with you!
Tours will take place on Saturday 25th March and Wednesday 29th March, 2023.
- Tours will begin on the hour at: 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00.
- Each tour will last approximately 50 minutes.
- Each tour group is limited to 15, so booking is recommended.
Attendees will be asked to meet in the Zoology Museum foyer a minimum of 5 minutes before the scheduled starting time of their tour. A member of the tour team will be waiting to welcome you.
