Biography: Son of Alexander Callam; born Glenbuchat. M.B. (Hons.), 1903; M.D. (com.), 1907; Shepherd Memorial, Anderson Gold, Medals; Murray Medal and Scholarship. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C (Volunteer), 1906. Mobilized, 5 August 1914. Attached to the East Yorkshire Field Ambulance. Served - British Expeditionary Force, 5 August 1914-20 December 1918. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel. D.S.O. Two mentions, April, December, 1918.
