Calder, James Black
Biography: Son of Walter Calder; born Strathy, Farr, 13 September 1887. M.A., 1910. Served with 1st Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders and 4th Gordon Highlanders, 3½ years. Enlisted, R.A.M.C., 15 February 1915; attached to the 51st Highland Casualty Clearing Station; commissioned, 29 October 1918. Served - Home, 1915, 1918; France, Belgium, May 1915-October 1918, January-March 1919. Final rank, Lieutenant.
