Biography: Born Culrain, 12 November 1896. Medicine, 1919- . Private, 1/4th (Reserve) Seaforth Highlanders. Served with 1/5th Seaforth Highlanders. Home, 12 months; France, Belgium, 18 months. Prisoner of War, 8 months, escaped October 1918. Final rank, Lance Corporal.
