Thomson, Allan Murray

Biography: Son of James A. Thomson, herring exporter, Fraserburgh ; born Fraserburgh, 11 March 1899 ; educated at Fraserburgh Academy. In the first world war he saw service as a commissioned officer in the Gloucesters and then graduated M.A. In 1920 he entered the employment of British Overseas Bank, and in 1929 became Assistant Manager of the Anglo-Polish Bank in Warsaw. He joined the Royal Air Force, and died at Doncaster in July 1943.
