Shervington, Tyrrell Michael John

Biography: Son of Tyrrell Mildmay Shervington and Helen Molly, Richmond, Surrey ; born London, 1923 ; educated at Stowe School. Entering the Royal Air Force in 1941, he attended a Cadets' course at the University and went to Canada for training. He later was posted to a squadron of Lancaster aircraft, and was on his sixteenth mission over railway yards near Paris when his plane was shot down on 7 June 1944. He is buried with his crew at Eragny par Pontoise, France.
