Mulholland, Alexander Eric

Biography: Son of Alexander Duguid Mulholland and Alice Mulholland (nee Walker), Abbotswell Road, Aberdeen ; born Ballater, June 1914 ; educated at Robert Gordon's College. In 1936 he graduated M.A. with Honours in French-Spanish, and then entered the teaching profession. He joined the Army in 1939 and held a commission in the Royal Scots Fusiliers for eighteen months. Later he volunteered for the Royal Air Force and was early commissioned. In 1942 he was presumed to have lost his life in air operations over enemy territory.
