Hogg, William Peat

Biography: Son of the Rev. Robert Hogg, Fermanagh, Ireland ; born Ireland, 29 February 1888; in 1912 he graduated M.B., Ch.B. and held residential posts till he joined the Royal Army Medical Corps in 1914. After service in France he transferred to the Indian Medical Service and acted as Medical Officer to the Gurkha Rifles, being mentioned in dispatches and awarded the M.C. In 1942 he was recalled for military duty and given command of the Indian Military Hospital at Poona. He died there on 5 November of the same year.
