Milne, Arthur James

Biography: Son of William Milne, rector, Stellenbosch Academy ; born Stellenbosch, Cape Colony, 26 October 1886; graduated M.B., 1908 ; D.P.H., 1909 ; acted as Assistant House Surgeon, Royal Portsmouth Hospital. Milne was commissioned in the South African Medical Corps and saw service in German East Africa. He died at Fort Johnstone, German East Africa, on 7 December 1918, of illness contracted on active service.
